Our Philosophy

The philosophy of our program and services promote the developmental growth of young ladies from primary to post secondary educational levels. We strive to enhance social,emotional, physical, and intellectual growth to young girls. We encourage our girls to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to meet the challenges of their daily lives. Our program is designed to assist in cultivating Modesty, Integrity, Self-Respect, and Success. MISS Mentorship Program will take a community-based approach with an emphasis on empowering our girls through educational experiences and service projects.


Jasmine Brown, CEO

Jasmine has a passion for helping young  women grow and develop into their best self. She is most passionate about being an example and leading through experience. Jasmine is a mother of one baby girl named Joi. She is a proud daughter, mentor, educator, and friend. She studies at Averett University in Danville,VA with hopes of obtaining her BA of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Sociology. Jasmine aspires enrich lives of those who are not only apart of MISS but those whom she encounters daily.  


Debra Pyles, Program Coordinator

Debra is committed to student success inside of the classroom and in life. Debra has been teaching elementary education for over a decade and she continues to have success year after year. She is a mother to one son, Gabriel who serves in the US Military. She has obtained both her Undergrad and Masters Degree in Education. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Inc.
